Gearup F-Series Round 1

Great weekend at the first round of the F-Series. The competition was extremely close, factory teams and drivers from all over the States came, including car racers. We Qualified 1st (with the top 4 being separated by just over a tenth of a second), came 4th in the first two races, and 2nd in the third Final. The kart handled brilliantly, we learnt a lot about the different tyres we have to use over here, and we managed to set the Fastest time of the weekend. The track was fast and flowing, and definitely one of my favourites, shame it's a four and half thousand mile trip there.

It was my first race in 5 months, our first time to the track and our first major event in America, all things considered it was a great way to start the year. I would like to thank Sean and Jamie of ONE Motorsport and George and Alex of Apex Kart sports for making this all possible. I'm throughly looking forward to the year ahead with you all. Also a big thanks to my Mum and Dad, friends and family for all the support, it means a lot.
